A Typical Basket Ball:
A basket ball is a spherical inflated ball that is used to play the game of basketball. All basketballs have an inflatable inner bladder made of rubber, which is wrapped in the form of layers of fiber and after that, covered by a tacky surface of rubber, a synthetic component, or leather. There is a small opening in the ball that allows the increase or decrease of pressure in the ball. The color scheme of the balls is orange with black ribs and a possible logo. The balls are assigned for the indoor or the all surface use. A standard ball has 4118 pebbles each measuring 2.5 millimeters in diameter.
Specifications for the Basket Ball:
Established basketball leagues have a prescribed specification of the balls to be used in the various official competitions that are being held. These specifications are based on the weight of the ball, the inflation pressure, the bounce, its circumference, the color, and the materials that are used to develop it. The balls are referred as size 7 for the men’s version and size 6 for the female version of the game.
